Play FITNESS
IS FUN is an age-appropriate, non-competitive fitness program
designed to instill fitness habits and build confidence in a fun,
safe environment.

IS FUN integrates physical games and activities while learning
sportsmanship and cooperation while developing motor skills, muscle
tone and body balance.
It’s a FACT that most children do not get enough exercise, even with all
of the running and playing they do. In today's visually oriented, high-tech society,
there is too much observation and not enough participation in physical activities.
It's a FACT that 40% of children ages 5 to 8 have fitness problems ranging from
obesity to high blood pressure. It's a FACT that preschool-age children today
are twice as likely to be overweight than they were two decades ago. Unfortunately,
child obesity and the health risks associated with it are rising at an alarming
rate. By the time children enter school, many feel too intimidated to try their
athletic skills on the playground. Because of this, exercise and exposure to
sports is a vital part of every child's early development. Pediatricians, physical
educators and child development specialists urge children of all ages to engage
in vigorous activity on a regular and habitual basis.

meet two times each week. The cost of these classes is only $160.00
